Matthew Riech

Matthew Riech is a financial professional with more than 15 years of experience helping individuals, families, and professionals navigate their financial lives with confidence. Since beginning his career in 2009, Matthew has built a practice focused on serving physicians and emerging affluent clients, providing personalized strategies designed to help them achieve their long-term financial goals.

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Political Science, Matthew joined Northwestern Mutual full-time in 2010 after starting as an intern. Throughout his career, he has  demonstrated a passion for leadership and advisor development. In 2019, he entered leadership and helped oversee the growth of a Manhattan office that expanded from 3,000 to 10,000 square feet while increasing its number of MDRT members. In 2022, he was recognized nationally as a top Growth and Development Director by Northwestern Mutual, and in 2024, he successfully launched a new office in New Canaan, Connecticut.

Matthew resides in Wilton, Connecticut, with his wife, Kate, and their two sons, Jackson and Cameron. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and exploring great food. A former collegiate baseball player, he remains an avid sports enthusiast and has volunteered as a youth baseball coach. Matthew and his family are also committed to supporting their community through charitable giving, including organizations such as the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and the Wounded Warrior Project.
