Michael A. Yoken


Mike has spent over 3 decades in the financial services industry. He began his career at IDS/American Express (Ameriprise). After a few very successful years, he transitioned to lead a bank insurance and investment program in New Hampshire and Maine for People’s Heritage Bank.

Prior to joining NFN, in 1996  Mike worked with a well-known financial institution in Boston, which at the time was affiliated with New England Financial. He was tasked with the responsibility of growing the firm and helping advisors expand their practices. He was named Sales Manager of the Year at New England Financial every year from 1997 to 2003. Due to his success as a Sales Manager, in 2004 he was named Partner.  During his tenure, the firm grew to one of the largest financial services firms in the country. Between 2004 and 2023, Mike was instrumental in expanding the firm's footprint and production and in the process won numerous industry awards. His passion for helping advisors grow their practices stems from his caring for people and the understanding of how to effectively market in today's competitive landscape.
Mike made the decision to join National Financial Network to contribute to the firm's efforts in expanding their New England presence. He was searching for a team that provides support and resources to exercise his unique ability in helping Advisors build successful Financial Services practices. He has developed programs and outlined marketing strategies to uncover business opportunities for each individual Advisor.
Mike is an active part of his community. He participates in various non-profit boards, focusing on education and helping children. He and his wife Heidi have 2 grown children and they enjoy golfing, traveling and spending time with family.
