Nick is a graduate of the University of Maine where he studied Finance and Business Management. He was seeking a career opportunity that allowed him to make an impact on his community and build a sustainable business for himself. Nick has experience managing others in a team environment and hopes to grow his financial services practice and build a team under him.
Nick teaches clients how to get organized and educates them on how different financial instruments work together to achieve their goals. Similar to how doctors operate Nick takes his time to diagnose and learn about what keeps clients up at night. From there, he back fills the activity needed to achieve both small and large goals. For example a client may have a goal of purchasing a home in 3 years. The big goal is buying a home, but the smaller goals Nick outlines like systematically saving and creating a savings habit is the behavior that drives the activity to achieve that goal.
He finds this career both rewarding and humbling. No two clients are the same which is what keeps growing his practice exciting. Nick believes that everyone can benefit from sitting down with a financial services professional, no matter the income level. From College students unsure of what to do about student loans to the new grandparents in retirement there is something that can be learned from a finance professional. In his spare time Nick enjoys going skiing and golfing, spending time with family and friends exploring new places.
