Ricky Rodriguez

Ricky began his career working as a Corrections Officer in New Haven, Connecticut.  After 5 years with the department Ricky transitioned to the Department Of Mental Health and Addiction Services Police Department where he served as a Police Officer and protected the community for over 15 years.  He retired from the force in 2020 taking advantage of a hazardous duty retirement. 

Ricky has always been interested in Finance and kept up with shifts in the market and was in tune with how his own retirement worked.  He was introduced to our from an NFN associate and has been working to build his practice with us ever since.  His background in a service field responsible for protecting a community is a complimentary world to financial services. 

Ricky has a clear passion for helping others and has taken his natural talents to the field with him.  With the support of senior advisors and leadership at NFN, Ricky is developing a financial practice of his own by providing education to families, businesses, and individuals.  Through his experience of speaking with co-workers as a Police Officer, he was amazed at how much people don’t know about their own retirement plan.  The assumption “I’m good” can cause issues in the future. Ricky shares the insight and education to help clients better understand how everything works together.

In his spare time Ricky enjoys spending time with his two children, coaching little league baseball. They are an adventurous family and love to travel.
