Yafeng Wu

Yafeng has over 20 years of experience in the top-tier international financial media industry. He served as an editor at Bloomberg News’ headquarters in New York for more than a decade. Prior to that, he held various positions at major financial media institutions where he built a deep network of high-level professional contacts across the economics, financial, and corporate sectors in both China and the United States. Yafeng is also the founder of Next Ridges, a boutique consulting firm based in New York, offering tailored solutions to the unique needs of corporate institutions and high-net-worth families within the U.S. as well as cross-border, bidirectional strategies for clients between the U.S. and China. He is heavily involved in organizations dedicated to pioneer research, collaboration, and innovation in the fintech sector and promotes collaboration between fintech centers around the world.

On top of Yafeng’s extensive global network, he is dedicated and compassionate in developing and achieving professional excellence in the financial industry, as well as being the liaison amongst industry leaders within the United States. He has co-founded the North America Mingde Forum, which has since held ten consecutive annual sessions and has become a well-recognized brand for professional forums on economics, finance, and investment in the New York area. In his spare time, Yafeng actively volunteers and is currently serving as the President of the North America Alumni Association of Renmin University of China, helping to develop the next generations of financial professionals and expanding its chapters into a large alumni network spanning across the United States and Canada.

Yafeng is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and the Director of Asian Markets for National Financial Network. He was a graduate of Renmin University of China, where he earned his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and EMBA degrees. He also serves as a board member of several professional nonprofit organizations, such as the Renmin University of China Alumni Association, the Entrepreneurs Chapter of the Alumni Association, and the Overseas Friendship Association of Haidian District, Beijing. He resides in New Jersey with his wife and son.
